Another crowd-sourced design from March For Science members! I got input on what tool would be most representative of geology. (I'd never heard of a Brunton compass. What a cool-looking tool — wish I could've worked that in!) The general consensus was a rock hammer and I even got input on which way it should be held! And, in the process I learned that geologists are prone to terrible puns (altho there may be a couple of it-shirt ideas there!) and that they are very fond of beer! Rock on, geologists!
