Carol Gunn Austin austin artist austin graphic designer screenprint shirt

My best-selling  "Why We Love Austin" design is now available online in wholesale quantities on T-shirts, Prints/Posters, and Postcards! Hi, I’m Carol Gunn, an experienced Austin-based graphic designer. When my freelance work is done, I create labors of love like this one, “Why We Love Austin”. Before I created this design, I asked my “focus group” (a.k.a. my Instagram followers) to let me know their favorite things about this weird city of ours. Live music of course, but also, thanks to some actor and writer friends, I added “CRAZY CREATIVITY: Film/TV, Visual Arts, Writers, Live Theatre”. Because, why should live music...

"Tiny Photographer” Screen-Printed Onesies and Toddler T-shirts

Carol Gunn

Not everyone is going to appreciate my “Tiny Photographer” t-shirt design, but those who do, really will!  I created it for a Daddy-to-be, who is a photographer and cinematographer. Giant LOVE Sign

Carol Gunn

The giant “LOVE” sign is a gift to the community from The Hill, a second campus of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Austin, Texas.  At 30 ft. wide by 8 ft. tall, it shines like a beacon in the night! With this card, we hope to capture that feeling of inspiration and help to spread its all-important message. A portion of profits will be donated to El Buen Samaritano. Cards and envelopes in boxed sets of...

"The Tesseract" from "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeline L'Engle

Carol Gunn

I've been wanting to create this Tesseract design for a long time! I first read "A Wrinkle in Time" when I was 12 and it blew my little mind! It was inspired by an illustration in the original 1962 edition of the book: "Swiftly Mrs. Who brought her hands together. 'Now, you see', Mrs. Whatsit said, 'he would be there, without that long trip. That is how we travel.'"#tesseract#AWrinkleinTime#MadelineL'Engle#MrsWho#MrsWhatsit#MrsWhich#illustration#AdobeIllustrator
